Report emanating from the Federal College of Education (FCE), in Kontagora, Niger State has it that, Fasilat Adegoke, a 3rd year student wounded in a suicide bombing at the institution has died a few hour hour ago.

An indigene of Ondo State, Ms. Adegoke was one of several female students who sustained varying degrees of injuries when a female suicide bomber detonated her explosives this morning at FCE, Kontagora.

Meanwhile, Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu of Niger State has condemned today’s suicide bombing and urged the residents of the state to remain calm. The governor also ordered immediate fortification of all schools and institutions with security personnel across the state to prevent any further occurrence of violent attacks.

It would be re-called that a  lone female suicide bomber, today, detonated a bomb at the Federal College of Education Kontagora in Niger State.  The suspected female suicide bomber killed herself in a failed attempt on students of the institution
