As ASUU Strike is over. Liveschoolnews urges FG To Put Education first

Lecturers at public universities in Nigeria have called off a lengthy strike that’s caused hundreds of thousands of students across the country to miss half an academic year.

Union members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities say they’ve reached an agreement with the government on issues including overtime payments and upgrading poor facilities.

They’d gone on strike in July, accusing the government of failing to implement a similar agreement four years ago.

Country development is through education and its also measure on how many people are educated so liveschoolnews.org urges Nigerian government to put education as first priority to citizens of the nation.
