D. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

1. ND PROGRAMME (Regular I/ Regular II):

i. Admission is through UTME and you must score a minimum of 150 and above in the just concluded JAMB Examination.

ii. Must have five (5) CREDITpasses at O/level at a maximum of two sittings as specified in JAMB Brochure.

iii. The JAMB requirement is a minimum of four (4) relevant subject combinations which must include CREDITpassesin English Language and Mathematics.

iv. Candidates awaiting results of NABTEB, WASC (May/June and NECO (June/July) 2015 ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. Note that any examination taken after July 2015 shall not be accepted.

v. Make sure you print your Registration Form/Slip as this serves as your entry ticket in to the screening hall

2. HND (REGULAR 1 & REGULAR 2) PROGRAMMES:

i. Must have ND Statement of Result

ii. Must have five (5) CREDITpassesat O/level at a maximum of two sittings as specified inJAMB Brochure.

iii. A minimum of one (1) year post ND cognate working experience in field of specialization for those with a minimum of Lower Credit.

iv. Candidates without the above requirements need not apply

v. JAMB SCORE OF 150 AND ABOVE AS AT TIME OF ENTRY INTO ND PROGRAMME.

3. HND (WEEKEND) PROGRAMMES:

i. Must have ND Statement of Result

ii. Must have five (5) CREDITpasses at O/level at a maximum of two sittings as specified in JAMB Brochure.

iii. A minimum of one (1) year post ND cognate working experience in field of specialization for those with a minimum of Lower Credit.

iv. Weekend candidates are not required to sit for our POST-UTME EXAMS

E. POST-UTME EXAMINATION:

Candidates for ND Regular I/ Regular II are to sit for a structured COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) on the following dates at the Imo State Polytechnic Main Campus, Umuagwo:

i. School of Business: 7th – 9th September, 2015. Time: 10am

ii. School of Science and Environmental Studies: 10th -12th September, 2015. Time: 10am

iii. HND1 Regular (All Programmes): 14th-15th September, 2015. Time: 10am

iv. School of Agriculture and Engineering: 16th – 17th September, 2015. Time: 10am

Candidates for HND Regular 1 and 2 are to seat for a structured COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) on the following dates at the Imo State Polytechnic Main Campus, Umuagwo:

i. School of Business: 3rd to 4th August, 2015. Time: 10am

ii. School of Science and Environmental Studies: 5th to 6th August, 2015. Time: 10am

iii. School of Agriculture and Engineering: 7th to 8th August, 2015. Time: 10am

F. NOTE: CANDIDATES ARE TO COME TO THE EXAMINATION HALL WITH THE FOLLOWINGS:

a. A Copy of their Imo State Polytechnic Examination Photo-card

b. A copy of O’ level Computer print- out

c. A copy of JAMB result Computer print- out

d. Evidence of one industrial attachment (HND Candidates)

PHONES (HANDSETS), CALCULATORS AND MATHEMATICAL (LOG) TABLES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN EXAM HALLS AS THEY WILL BE CEASED

I. MODE OF APPLICATION

All eligible candidates for the Post-UTME Screening Test are required to obtain our e-transact login details from the following banks below at the cost of N5,500.00. Log on to the Polytechnic’s website (www.imopoly.edu.ng) to complete the application forms. All completed applications should reach the admissions office on or before the 27th of JULY, 2015. Please note that you have to provide a working e-mail address as all mails to you will be through your e-mail.

iii. Eco Bank Plc, Nationwide
