The students under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress National Students Vanguard (APCNSV), urge President-elect Muhammadu Buhari to instill discipline in the society and wipe out corruption from public and private sectors.

A statement by the national coordinator of the group, Comrade A. A. Shatta urged the president-elect to ruthlessly eradicate “indiscipline, corruption, misuse and abuse of public offices which has assumed debilitating proportions in the last few years.”

He said there is need to re-launch the war against indiscipline (WAI), which Lagos State changed to KAI (kick against indiscipline), “which has helped in deepening discipline and civic responsibility among Lagosians.”

“Nigerians dream and desire a country free from corruption, insecurity and high cost of living, a country where transparency and the rule of law reigns and tremendous development in all sectors is embraced, Shatta said.

The students urged Nigerians to support the APC government to achieve its laudable programmes for the benefit of all.

“We at APCNSV wish to remind Nigerians that as we all look up to the people’s general to deliver us this new Nigeria, it is only with our support and solidarity that this can be achieved,” the statement said.
