The University of Calabar has not appointed nor elected a new Vice Chancellor. The current Vice Chancellor, Prof James Epoke is still in charge of affairs in the university. The University however has a new Chancellor in the person of HRM, Tor Tiv Iv, Dr Alfred Torkula.
